The Shops in the Village Center, The Foundry,
The Ice House Mall & Village Shops, The Shops on Lageschulte, and the stores
along the Northwest Highway corridor are offering wonderful promotions,
extended store hours and special sales throughout the holiday shopping season.

Luminary
Night
Kick off your holiday shopping season on
Thursday, November 19 with Luminary Night.
Local merchants will be participating in this beautiful evening, when
the luminaries will light the way from store to store across the Village. There will be raffles, hot chocolate, cider,
sweet treats, gift baskets, and essay and drawing contest for the children, and
so much more! Start your holiday shopping in style and join us for this special
evening!

Santa
visits at The Foundry
Santa will arrive at The
Foundry Shopping Center for three special days following Thanksgiving. He will be ready to welcome children in the
red Santa House with a special treat for each child. Foundry merchants will
also greet you with special holiday surprises.

December 5, 12:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Tree Lighting Ceremony and Visits with Santa
A holiday
tradition not to be missed - Barrington’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Free carriage rides will
be offered downtown starting at 2:00 p.m. Santa will arrive at Cook and Main streets
at 4:45 p.m. to help light Barrington’s official Christmas tree and the
Barrington High School Madrigal Singers will also be on hand to perform holiday
songs.
After his arrival, Santa
will visit with children in his red Santa House on Park Avenue where refreshments
and hot cocoa will await. Don’t head
home after you see Santa! Instead, take
part in the first “Barrington Aglow” evening.
Our shops will once again be lit with luminaries and will feature events
from the new Barrington Cultural Commission, including art demonstrations,
flower arranging, dance ensembles, string quartets, and even Christmas
caroling. Shops will be offering
extended evening hours, so stay in town and enjoy Barrington Aglow!

Breakfast and Santa Visits at the Ice House Mall & Village Shops
Beginning on Saturday, December 5 with
Santa’s arrival at 10:00 a.m., Santa will be taking up residence for the
holiday season at The Ice House Mall where he’ll greet children until Christmas
Eve. And don’t miss the special holiday
tradition of Breakfast with Santa at the 111 Grille/Chessie’s
on Saturday morning, December 12 from 9:00
– 11:00 a.m.
