The mission of the Office of the Village Manager is to oversee and coordinate
Village resources to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of Village operations. The Office
achieves this mission by providing centralized administrative and support services to the Corporate
Authorities, Village operating departments, and the Barrington community.
The Office of the Village Manager is responsible for communications, information technology, and coordinating projects requiring significant interdepartmental cooperation.
Additionally, the Village Manager's Office oversees the development and implementation of programs and projects directed at enhancing communications with and promoting interaction between residents and members of the business community. This includes production of the Village's newsletter, website and Community Access Channel 4. |
